大型情景音舞诗画首场试演中有一个镜头带给观众特殊的奇幻意境：大屏幕上，一个虚拟成像的“北京人”，迈开坚实的步伐，穿越时空和历史，向我们走来。这是全国最大规模使用全息幻影成像技术和3D全息投影技术在大开角弧形屏幕上的首次应用。

据介绍，晚会采用了8米乘16米宽幅，仅达3张手机保护膜厚度的全息膜，面临户外环境的声音震动和风振挑战，全息膜徐徐从舞台上方降落，却令人难以察觉。

总导演认为，此场晚会创了几个第一：这是史上规模最大的全息投影技术；第一次在全球范围内把3D偏振立体成像技术引入大型晚会之中；演出规模为世界第一等。
